Import Services

Objective:

To grow the business by acquiring new clients that import product into the UK from the Far East.


Approach:

A number of desk-based databases were used to identify which products are imported into the UK from the Far East by value and volume. The toy sector was chosen and all UK manufacturers and retailers that imported toys were identified, classified by region of the country.


Result:

Import Services was provided with a list of products that are imported into the UK from the Far East by value and volume and a list of all UK manufacturers and retailers (by region).
